Caramel Graham Crackers - My daughter's favorite cookie/candy. I make lots of these at Christmas.

24 2½" graham crackers
½ Cup margarine
½ Cup butter
1 Cup light brown sugar - firmly packed
1 Cup pecans - optional

Line a cookie sheet (16x11x1) with foil, let it overlap all edges a little bit.

Cover with a single layer of graham crackers.

Mix margarine, butter and sugar in a pan.

Bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes.

Pour over crackers; then sprinkle with nuts.

Bake at 350° preheated oven for 12 minutes.

Cut into triangles or whatever while warm (I just break them apart usually).
