Is there any way to get around repeating background images in Netscape Navigator?

One way around this without css. You need to surround 'your table' with another table, 1 row 1 column, no border, cp=0 cs=0 etc. and put the background in the table tag of this table. Then you have to create a small transparent gif and set this to the background of every cell in 'your table'. This will do the job in Netscape Navigator.
